Basically, the difference is that instead of using harmful insecticides or more aggressive removal techniques, we gently remove the bees and hives before relocating them to our local nursery apiary.

Bees are a valuable natural resources, and they contribute a lot to the local ecosystem of Houston. At the same time, they can cause damage to your property and aggressively defend their territory. Bee removal is a way to preserve bees and all they have to offer the environment without letting them cause people trouble in more residential areas across Houston and Katy.

Our Process

We start the bee removal process by figuring out the location and extent of the hive. With FLIR technology, we’re able to get a full image of an active hive, showing the exact location and how busy the bees really are. For concealed structures, we can use a boroscope or stethoscope to see and hear hives that may have been constructed in walls or other enclosed interiors.

After locating the hive, we carefully extract it and transfer both the hive and bees to our local apiary. By gently removing the brood and comb, we’re able to preserve the habitat and relocate the bees without harming them.

Finally, we’ll treat the area with an environmentally friendly repellent to ensure another swarm doesn’t come along to take up residence in the same place.
